Perspectives on the value proposition of the New Zealand Naval Combat Force
The New Zealand Institute of Economic Research (NZIER) has undertaken a study into the value of the Naval Combat Force.

Research shows that it is possible to estimate the economic value of military capabilities such as the frigate force from a range of perspectives: Cabinet Ministers, security experts and ordinary Kiwis.
The three groups place a significant economic value on the Naval Combat Force, from $3.5B to $10B over a 30 year period.
