Education and Training for Industry Partners

The security requirements within the Defence Industry Security Programme (DISP) protect us, they protect you, and they in turn protect New Zealand.

Industry partners and Facility Security Officers (FSOs) play an important role in protecting the Defence Force. We depend on you to take your role in this seriously.

E-learning resources

There are currently two e-learning modules available to provide guidance on what you need to do as a member of the DISP, and for FSO's to receive the training they require to enable them to perform their role effectively:

  • Security at the NZDF
to educate everyone who works for our industry partners in their security responsibilities
  • Being a Facility Security Officer
to give FSOs specific training for their role to enable them to effectively perform their security responsibilities (this course requires learners to complete 'Security at the NZDF' as a pre-requisite).

Access to these courses is available for industry partners who are in the process of joining the DISP, as part of our accreditation process. Please contact the NZDF Security Education and Training Team at SecurityEducationandTraining@nzdf.mil.nz to organise your login access details.
