Registration opens for 2023 Gallipoli services

New Zealanders wishing to attend Anzac Day services in Gallipoli, Türkiye, are now invited to register to receive their free attendance pass for the 2023 commemorations.

11 November, 2022

“After the resumption of services this year following the break due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we know many New Zealanders and Australians will be keen to once again be part of the commemorations at Gallipoli,” said John McLeod, from the New Zealand Defence Force, who has led the New Zealand component of the commemoration since 2014.

“I’m pleased to advise that the attendance passes are now available and although it is free to attend, it is essential that anyone who is considering coming registers online to secure their attendance pass.”

The New Zealand Defence Force will be supporting ceremonies for the Anzac Dawn Service, and a late-morning New Zealand-led service at Chunuk Bair on 25 April 2023.
