There is no obligation, and no standard first meeting. Some people go to Become Wealth with a decision to make. Others want to understand their options. Both work.

Holiday Accommodation
You can plan a family friendly holiday staying at the Army, Navy, or Air Force Welfare holiday houses at locations throughout New Zealand. These are available to NZDF personnel and their dependants at low cost.
To ensure fair access, bookings during peak holiday periods are allocated through a ballot system. Each service branch has unique criteria for ballot periods and eligibility, so be sure to review the specific guidelines.
