Our Reserve Force are a crucial part of our integrated Defence workforce.

Through their service, and against a backdrop of increasing global tensions, Reserves aide in the NZDF’s ability to protect New Zealand’s interests.

Whether through applying your specialist knowledge or dedicating your time to undertake training, operations and other opportunities, we are grateful for your continued engagement and professionalism.

I also acknowledge that the skills, teamwork, focus and self-discipline that you develop through your time with Defence that makes you incredibly valuable in your civilian lives as well.
