German Air Force visit

The Royal New Zealand Air Force is hosting several German Air Force aircraft and working alongside them as they conduct flying training in Airbus A400M Atlas transport aircraft. Blenhein and Ohakea Alert

Today, Saturday 22 November, a German Air Force A400M Atlas will depart Base Woodbourne at around 10:00am and conduct several flights back and forth to Base Ohakea.

All flights will be conducted in accordance with approved military operating procedures and are weather dependent. Members of the public should not be concerned.

We appreciate the community’s support and understanding while this international training is underway.

Guten Tag and Kia ora Luftwaffe. Today, the Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) welcomed our visitors from the German Air Force (GAF) to New Zealand.
