Ngā mihi nui
Ten Years, Ten Nations: One Initiative. This year, the Combined Space Operations (CSpO) Initiative celebrated ten years of working together to lead as responsible space actors.
The CSpO Initiative generates and improves coordination of national security space activities. It has grown to ten partners: Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Norway, United Kingdom, United States of America.
Space is integral to our shared prosperity and security: Space systems and services require assured access to, and freedom to operate in space.
However, the security and stability of space are at risk. We are committed to ensuring the lawful and sustainable use of space, and the prevention of conflict.
Throughout the years, we have pursued collaborative efforts to meet rapidly evolving challenges and opportunities, and to deliver resilient, agile, secure, and interoperable capabilities.
New Zealand, as a CSpO initiative partner, looks forward to continued cooperation to promote and demonstrate responsible behaviour in the space domain.
