Joint Forces New Zealand is the operational Headquarters for the New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) that exists to prepare, command and support assigned forces in order to contribute to the security of New Zealand.

Homebase is part of a package of services designed to help support our deployment community, which includes deployed personnel, their loved ones and our support agencies.

This site includes resources to empower our community, when loved ones are away. Together we can support our deployed people to perform at their best and return home safely, having had a rewarding experience performing their duties in the service of our Nation.

It is important that those who are deployed feel reassured that their loved ones at home are able to cope with their absences. Preparation is a key part of this and it is a shared responsibility between service people, their families and the NZDF with information and support readily available when appropriate.
