Operation Gallant Phoenix
Established in 2013, Operation Gallant Phoenix initially aimed to track the flow of foreign terrorist fighters in and out of Iraq and Syria. It has since evolved into a platform where partners collect and share information about potential and existing terrorist threats, regardless of the ideology behind those threats.

United Nations Mission in South Sudan
We deploy military liaison officers, primarily from the Army, to this South Sudan-based mission helping to monitor peace agreements, protect civilian sites and support the delivery of humanitarian aid.

Combined Maritime Forces
We help promote stability with counter-piracy measures and maritime security operations across 3.2 million square miles of international waters, through our work with the Combined Maritime Forces Headquarters in Bahrain. This mission covers some of the world’s most important shipping lanes, from the Red Sea, to the Gulf of Aden, Indian Ocean and Gulf of Oman.
