Defence Science and Technology (DST) provides evidence-based, impartial scientific leadership which is at the core of the New Zealand Defence Force’s (NZDF’s) decision-making, underpinning the force’s ability to operate and succeed in an increasingly complex, contested and technologically advanced environment.
Defence Science & Technology is part of the New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF), based at the Devonport Naval Base in Auckland. We provide research, science and technology support to the NZDF and the Ministry of Defence.
DST supports the NZDF’s current and future operational success through the delivery of military Science and Technology.
