Trentham Military Camp [CSC-11-0581-68]
Trentham has the advantage of being located in the peaceful and local community of Upper Hutt with access to all the beauties of the Wairarapa, excitement of Wellington City and relaxation of the Kapiti Coast. At the same time the Camp provides that military home for all the service personnel in the Wellington Region.
Trentham Camp has a very good working relationship with many civilian clubs, associations and institutions in the Hutt Valley. It has a proud record of supporting schools and charity organisations in Upper Hutt. We enjoy excellent support from both Upper and Lower Hutt City Councils, both of whom strongly support the military and the benefits we bring the local communities and economies.
Medical Treatment Centre
Trentham Camp operates a medical treatment centre for all military staff. It provides an emergency facility for all who may be injured or suffer serious illness in their place of work. Civilian employees and families of both military and civilian staff are expected to attend their own General Practitioner for medical treatment.
