New Zealand Defence Support Unit South East Asia
New Zealand Defence Support Unit South East Asia (NZDSU) was established following the withdrawal of New Zealand Force South East Asia in 1989. It aims to maintain a New Zealand presence in the region that will facilitate the New Zealand Defence Force exercising and operating with parties to the Five Power Defence Agreements (FPDA).
The role of the NZDSU is to support New Zealand's defence and security commitments in South East Asia.
