The New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) men’s and women’s basketball teams will play a three match test series against the Australian Defence Force (ADF) at South West Stadium in Newtown, Wellington from 6-8 August.
“The Australians have a strong squad which will provide a challenge for our teams,” said NZDF men’s coach, Lieutenant Nigel Young. “However, we are hoping our teams will show them what the NZDF is capable of.”
“The test series is open to the public and provides a great opportunity to see the New Zealand Defence Force in action against the Australian Defence Force in what should be a highly competitive but good spirited event,” said LT Young.
