Lord Ashcroft visit – Media opportunities

14 April 2008

There will be two opportunities for media interviews with Lord Michael Ashcroft as part of his brief visit to New Zealand to visit aspects of Operation Valour, the ongoing investigation into the theft of gallantry medals from the Waiouru Army Museum.

On Tuesday, April 15, Lord Ashcroft will be available;

11am:  Waiouru Army Museum, Waiouru.
4pm:  Police National Headquarters, 180 Molesworth Street, Wellington.

Please note: Lord Ashcroft’s visit to Waiouru Army Museum will be weather-dependent.  If conditions are poor Lord Ashcroft’s plane will not be able to land at the Waiouru Air Strip.

Because of his tight travel schedule the opportunity to interview Lord Ashcroft at Waiouru will be limited to an extended photo opportunity. There will be more time to interview him at the press conference at National Police Headquarters.
