Media are invited to submit expressions of interest for an ANZAC Day interview with New Zealand troops deployed overseas.
There are currently 521 New Zealand Defence Force personnel deployed on operations, UN missions or exercises overseas.
While ANZAC Day will be a normal work day for most, the Kiwis will mark the occasion with a ceremony.
To ensure coordination of all requests, media must contact Defence Public Relations during business hours on 04 529 6033 by 4pm on Thursday 17 April 2008.
The following information will be required:
1. Your preferred mission.
2. Preferred date and time of interview (please consider time differences between New Zealand and the operation area).
Please note that only pre-recorded interviews will be available, and every effort will be made to facilitate all interview requests.
