HMAS RANKIN

The Northland and Auckland public will see an unusual sight over the late afternoon today and the early hours of tomorrow as the Australian Submarine HMAS RANKIN makes her way into Auckland for a 13 day visit.
HMAS RANKIN will berth at Devonport Naval Base at 11 am from Monday 11 February and depart on Sunday, 24 February.
The last Australian Submarine to visit Auckland was HMAS FARNSCOMBE in 2005.
HMAS RANKIN will conduct a Supported Maintenance Period whilst alongside at the Devonport Naval Base for the period of her visit.
Unfortunately, there are no open days for the public planned during this visit.
