Navy Frigate heading to Timaru

The second of the Navy’s ANZAC Class frigates, HMNZS TE MANA, will visit Timaru from Thursday 30 August to Monday 3 September. 

The Commanding Officer of TE MANA, Temuka born and bred Commander Wilson Trumper, says ”I am extremely proud to be bringing TE MANA down to my homeport of Timaru.” 

Commander Trumper and his crew of 163 men and women are looking forward to meeting the people of Timaru and warmly invite members of the public to visit the ship and meet the personnel of your Navy on Saturday 1 September from 10:00 am to 02:00 pm.

HMNZS TE MANA will depart Timaru on Sunday 2 September bound for Dunedin.
