On 25 May a contingent of 105 New Zealand Defence Force personnel will depart from the RNZAF Air Movements Terminal in Christchurch for Timor-Leste.
They will be the third rotation of NZDF personnel to serve in the troubled region.
A small ceremony attended by Commander Joint Forces New Zealand Rear Admiral Jack Steer and the families and friends of the deploying personnel will be held prior to the departure.
Media will have the opportunity to interview deploying troops during the farewell.
When: Friday 25 May 2007, 7.00am
Where: RNZAF Air Movements Terminal, Christchurch
