New Air Force recruits march out

18 April 2007

The future faces of the Royal New Zealand Air Force will parade at Woodbourne Air Force Base tomorrow during the first recruit course graduation ceremony of the year.

The 1pm ceremony will see 52 recruits take part in a graduation parade in front of reviewing officer Wing Commander Keith Graham.

Their graduation represents the completion of 12 weeks of basic military training to introduce them to the RNZAF, hone their writing skills and develop their parade ground drill.

In a couple of weeks the new recruits will begin training courses to become pilots, air crew, ground officers, trades people or support personnel.
