During the period 08 - 11 March 2005, a number of the New Zealand Light Armoured Vehicles (NZLAVs) will be seen by motorists on roads throughout the North Island as part of the NZLAV driver training course:
08 March Waiouru - Devonport - Whangarei
09 March Whangarei - Cape Reinga
10 March Cape Reinga - Devonport
11 March Devonport - Waiouru
The NZLAV driver training course is run by the Army’s Transitional Training Team (TTT) and allows NZLAV crews to gain experience on public roads as well as on rough terrain.
