Telethon 09
In August 2009 New Zealand Defence Force personnel raised over $10,000 for Telethon, supporting the Kids Can Stand Tall charity, whose proceeds go to children in poverty. NZDF personnel organised various fundraising activities both in New Zealand and overseas - from a mass military-style exercise class in Wellington to a 523km relay running race at Kiwi Base in Afghanistan.
