To raise awareness of the 90th anniversary of Passchendaele this year, the NZDF launched Operation Warpaint, an art competition open to persons aged 8 - 13 years.
Army artist Matt Gauldie judged the entries. Gemma Baldock, Daniel Wooten and Caitlin Macdonald won prizes which included LAV and helicopter rides for themselves and their friends and families.
