To commemorate Anzac Day 2008, and raise awareness of our Kiwi troops, the NZDF launched Operation KIWI, a design competition for Year 6 to 10 students.
Andrew Lyall (11) from Cambridge was the first prize winner and he won a day with the Navy. Andrew was accompanied by his father Andrew Lyall (senior). Highlights of the July day out in Auckland included a ride in a Seasprite Helicopter and a RHIB ride around Auckland Harbour.
