Waitangi 2008

The Royal New Zealand Navy was invited by the people of Tai Tokerau to attend Waitangi Day Celebrations in the Bay of Islands on 5 and 6 February 2008. They were involved in Beat the Retreat and Ceremonial Sunset Ceremonies at the Flagpole, on the Treaty Grounds and were reviewed by the Governor-General of New Zealand, The Honorable Anand Satyanand.
