90th Anniversary of Battle of Messines

A ceremony marking the 90th anniversary of the Battle of Messines was held in Mesen, Belgium on 7 June 2007. The Battle of Messines was considered one of the most successful on the Western Front during World War One.  The ceremony  was attended by NZDF staff based in London, Police Minister Annette King and Ministry of Foreign Affairs staff from Brussels.
