The world renowned New Zealand Army Band performed at the coronation of Tongan King George Tupou V, alongside the United States Marine Corps, Royal Australian Navy and Tongan Defence Force bands.
As well as playing several individual concerts at local schools and at a medals ceremony, the Band joined up with the other countries’ bands for the Coronation Parade on 1 August and a special military parade the following day.
