Planned activities to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the Battle of Passchendaele are as follows:

 4 October

  • Official New Zealand Commemoration of the Battle of Broodseinde, New Zealand memorial,  's Graventafel
  • Official ANZAC Commemorative service, Tyne Cot Cemetery
  • Australian event - re-interment of five Australian soldiers found at Westhoek in 2006, Polygon Wood cemetery

6 October

  • ANZAC ‘Living History’ re-enactors, Zonnebeke Chateau grounds
  • Cultural performance by Maori and Aboriginal groups, Marquee, Zonnebeke Chateau

6-7 October

  • Descent into Hell exhibition continues at the Old Cheese Factory, Passchendaele.

Guided battlefield walks:

  • Messines ‘In the Footsteps of the New Zealanders’
  • Passchendaele ‘On the Trail of the New Zealanders’
  • Australian themed walk (Sunday only)

12 October

  • Official New Zealand Commemoration of the Battle of Passchendaele, Tyne Cot Cemetery(marking the action which took place on 12 October 1917 and resulted in New Zealand’s greatest loss of life on a single day).
