No. 53 Joint Command and Staff Staff Course will commence at the NZDF Command and Staff College located in Trentham Military Camp, Upper Hutt, on Monday, 30 April 2012. Course members will be accommodated in the Command and Staff College Rabaul Barracks.

Reporting
The formal reporting time for Joint Command and Staff Staff Course 53 is 0800 on Monday, 30 april 2012 in working dress. Course members are to assemble at the College entrance where a formal welcome (Mihi) will be conducted followed by a welcome brief by the Director and a keynote address. Day one of the course comprises introductory briefings and activities.
Welcome Family BBQ
A Welcome Family BBQ will be held on Wenesday 2 May 2012 at 1800 hours in the Trentham Officers' Mess.
New Zealand Study Tour.
The New Zealand Study Tour for the Joint Command and Staff Staff Course will take place over the period 14 - 18 May 2012, visiting bases in the Auckland area then travelling to Ohakea and Linton before returning to Trentham Military Camp.
Graduation Dinner

The Joint Command and Staff Staff Course 53 Graduation Dinner will take place on Thursday 6 December 2012 at 1800 hours in the Trentham Officers' Mess. It will be a formal dinner which partners are invited to attend.
Dress
Due to the variety of arenas you will be working in, you will require a variety of uniforms and civilian attire. Specific dress requirements are detailed in the joining instructions.
