Unauthorised Release of Official Information
My attention has been drawn to the provisions contained in section 25 of the Armed Forces Discipline Act 1971, Crimes Act 1961 (Section 78 and 78A) and Defence Force Orders relating to official information. I am aware that under these provisions, the unauthorised release of any official information may render me liable to disciplinary action, and in some cases, criminal prosecution. I further understand that these provisions apply not only during my service, but also after such service has ceased.
