Navy
- One frigate for emergency tasks, including SAR and Medical Assistance/Evacuation.
- Three Inshore Patrol Crafts for emergency tasks, including SAR.
- One Diving Team for emergency tasks, including under-water search and EOD.
- One 25-person Civil Defence Response Group.
- On-shore personnel for fire fighting, as available.

- Personnel in North Island and South Island for emergency tasks, including SAR and Medical Assistance/Evacuation.
